Affordable Try-On Haul: 5 Looks from Shein

by - July 29, 2019

Hi friends!! Since my last post included all of the styles and investment pieces from the NSale, I thought it would be fun to share a round of affordable outfits. When it comes to fashion at an unbeatable price, Shein is one of my go-to's - all of the items in this haul are under $20. Before we get started, I wanted to let you guys know that they typically offer free shipping on all orders every Sunday. If you'd like to save even more on shipping costs, it's a good idea to place orders on the weekend! Let's begin:

1. Pink Polka Dot Ruffle Hem Dress

Listing this one first because it's my favorite piece that I've ordered from Shein, I think ever! It's a look-alike for this popular dress from Revolve, which I actually ordered so I can compare the two. Will be sharing that review soon! Anyway, this one is just the perfect girly dress - the pink, the polka dots...I'm in love. I will say the fabric is not too impressive, though not poor, but for just $16 you can't go wrong. I'm wearing size S and it fits me just right. You can also adjust the length by making the straps tighter or looser. Three different girls complimented this dress when I last wore it - it's that cute! (PS - the true color is best seen in the last photo. It has a different, brighter filter on it!)

Also in this look: Kate Spade bag (old) / nude sandals

2. Floral Cami Sundress

This dress is only $9, and I will say you pretty much get what you pay for. The material is rather cheap and thin, but it's a great throw-on-and-go for a hot summer day. The buttons are functional and the straps are adjustable, so it works for a variety of heights. It feels just like a light cami top, only it's a dress. Despite its lower quality fabric, I really like this one and wear it a lot. The pink color and floral pattern is so cute! It also comes in two other colors.

Also in this look: Brixton straw hatSteve Madden straw slide sandals / round rattan bag / pearl hair clip

3. White Eyelet Babydoll Dress

I already featured this dress on here on the blog, but I thought I would include it in this haul because it's a GREAT dress. The quality is top notch - it's thick, 100% cotton, and is lined. I love the babydoll fit and the little ruffle sleeves, too - can't believe it's not even $20. If you'd like to read more about how I styled it, see the post here.

Also in this look: Amazon espadrille sandals (on sale for under $10!!) / round rattan bag / pearl hair clip

4. Pink Eyelet Skirt and Frill Trim Cami

My favorite look from this haul! The skirt is sooo darling, and it's no secret that I'm a huge fan of eyelet. While it is slightly thinner than I'd hoped, it's no issue because it has lightweight shorts underneath (it's not a skort, though). It also has a zipper in the back as the front buttons are non-functional. As for the cami, it's more cropped than it appears online...I went up a size just to be safe. It's light, easy, and cute for just $7!

5. Tie-Shoulder Striped Dress

I have also posted this one before on my Instagram, but I never shared it on the blog. It's all-cotton and has thick fabric, which I really like. Its flowy fit is slightly big on my frame, but I didn't find it to be overpowering. I just love it paired with a straw hat and a pair of espadrille sandals! I also really like that you can tie the straps at different lengths to adjust the overall length of the dress.

Hope you enjoyed this round of affordable looks! Be sure to head back here for that comparison between the two polka dot dresses as well as my Amazon Prime Day Haul ❤️ xoxo
