Spring Shoe Roundup

by - May 07, 2019

I'm so excited to share today's post with you! It's all about my favorite shoes for spring and summer. I've been saying for weeks now that I was going to publish this, and for some reason I kept running out of time to get it together. Here are my favorite shoes this season:

1. Steve Madden Greece Slides

I really wanted a pair of these last year, so this year I took advantage of the Shopbop sale and ordered the 'Natural Multi' because I'm alllll about the straw trend. I also really want the white ones! They're $79 and run small - I went up half a size, but I could've even done a full size larger, too.

2. Treasure & Bond 'Sannibel' Platform Wedge Sandal

I consider this my go-to spring/summer sandal. They're easy to walk in and go with SO many outfits...great with shorts, jeans, or dresses. I got my normal size 6 and they fit perfectly - $79.

3. Marc Fisher LTD 'Adalyn' Espadrille Wedge

These are a little more expensive at $159, but they're my FAVORITE wedge - I've gotten a ton of use out of them. Even though they have a big, tall wedge, they're very easy to walk in and are pretty comfortable. The color I have is from last year, but they come in several other colors. They fit TTS!

4. Sam Edelman 'Ranger' Platform Sandals

I've had these for a year now and love them. Definitely go up at least a half size because they run small! They're $75 and seem to be on sale a lot, especially at this retailer.

5. Vince Camuto 'Breshan' Espadrille Wedge

I've talked about these at length before and have also worn them at least 3x a week since buying them. They're just so cute and easy to get around in! At just under $100, they're a great alternative to the See by Chloé 'Glyn' Espadrille ($240). I wanted to share this pair with you too - they look even more like Chloé, in my opinion, and are only $59!

6. Sam Edelman 'Christina' Platform

I love slip-on sneakers and I love espadrilles, so this pair is a win-win for me. The sizing in this style of shoe is always a gamble for me since I have narrow feet, though. I initially ordered my usual size, but my toes were jammed at the front. I had to go up half a size, but now they're slightly loose in my ankles. If you don't have narrow feet, half a size up should be no problem for you. They're reasonably priced at $60 and are super cute!

I'm planning on expanding my flats & slide sandals collection since that's basically all I wear when it's 100 degrees - hopefully I will have more to share with you soon! Anyway, today is actually a pretty fun day because we're hosting our annual tea party in commemoration of the Royal Wedding. We looooove Will & Kate and celebrate their anniversary every year with cakes, scones, cream & jams, finger sandwiches, etc and it's one of my fave days. Will try to share some of it over on my Instagram stories! xoxo
