Today we went to Malibu and it was so perfect! Honestly, sometimes going to the beach is a hit or a miss - you never know if it's gonna be nice and warm or chilly. But today was just right...not hot, but definitely not cold. I had the best morning!










I couldn't have enjoyed this Saturday more. I brought our Altec portable speaker and played my beach playlist, packed some snacks in our picnic basket, and also picked up this beach umbrella at Target on the way (which is really good for the price, btw). It was sooo nice to just relax in the sunshine and take in the sea breeze.

I got my swimsuit a few weeks ago from Aerie. I love the high-neck top paired with the matching high-waisted bottoms. I'm usually a one piece kinda girl, but I like two pieces too if they have pretty good coverage. And this olive green one was such a good deal...pretty sure I got both pieces for a total of less than $30.
